Isparta from Pamukkale
Isparta Province — 180 km east of Pamukkale — is known as Turkey's 'lake district' and the world capital of rose oil. In early summer the lavender fields of Kuyucak are a photographer's dream.
- Eğirdir Lake — huge freshwater lake with the town on a narrow peninsula. Apple orchards.
- Kuyucak lavender fields — best in late June / early July. Instagram-famous.
- Rose farms — late May to mid-June for the rose harvest and distillation.
- Sagalassos is also accessible via Isparta route.
Logistics: 180 km, 2.5 h drive. Day trip possible; overnight in Eğirdir recommended for lake dinner + sunset.
